A NEW CHAPTER: FOREST SPORTS HUB
The Forest Sports Hub, formerly known as the Forest Sports Zone, welcomed its first community members back this week as the facility partially reopened following the ongoing £1.9 million redevelopment.
The first players stepped onto the brand-new 3G pitch, marking an exciting milestone as work continues towards the full reopening of the Hub later this year.
Laura Campbell, Facility Manager at the Forest Sports Hub said: “It’s been fantastic to welcome our community back to the Forest Sports Hub and see people enjoying the new 3G pitch for the first time.
“A huge amount of work has gone into getting us to this point, and it’s brilliant to see the facility coming back to life. We can’t wait to continue welcoming more people through the doors as the redevelopment progresses towards full reopening later this year.”
