All Saints Pupils Enjoy Unforgettable Matchday Experience

Six pupils from All Saints Catholic Academy recently enjoyed a memorable visit to support Nottingham Forest Women, stepping out as official ball assistants for the team’s fixture against Aston Villa.

The opportunity was arranged as part of the Nottingham Forest Foundation’s Premier League Inspires programme, which provides students with unique behind-the-scenes experiences and personal development opportunities through elite sport.

During the fixture, the six pupils played an important role pitch-side, keeping the game moving smoothly while taking in the matchday atmosphere and cheering on the team.

Reflecting on the experience, Mr Thompson, teacher at All Saints Catholic Academy, said:

“It was an amazing experience for the girls to have. For them to experience a high-level women’s game in a professional stadium was brilliant – something that wouldn’t have been possible only a few years ago. They have not stopped talking about it since.”

The Premier League Inspires initiative continues to create inspiring pathways for young people across Nottingham, using the power of the club to build confidence, engagement, and lasting memories both inside and outside the classroom.

“It was amazing and I really enjoyed it and would love to be able to do it again,” said Lolah.

“It is something I never thought I would be able to do,” added Evie. “As a Forest fan, it was so cool being able to be pitch-side. What an amazing experience.”

Premier League Inspires is a personal development programme, funded by the Premier League through the Premier League Foundation. The programme uses the power of football to inspire young people aged 11-to-18 to develop the personal skills and positive attitudes needed to succeed in life.
